Robotic Process Automation

Automate and optimise processes

What is Robotic Process Automation?

Relieve employees, increase efficiency and reduce costs

Automate manual and time-consuming processes

Unlike physical robots applied in the industrial production, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) does not use machines, but software robots that imitate human work steps and automates manual and time-consuming business processes.

As virtual employees, our individually developed software robots can independently carry out time-consuming tasks such as processing invoices, creating contracts or transferring data. To do so, the robots require an initial training phase and concrete instructions, such as: “Open the Excel file. If a cross is set in the first row, copy the number from column F into the booking mask.”

Redesign work processes and unleash potential

In principle, the robots proceed in the same way as employees and process data according to previously defined rules and logic. Thereby, they mostly use the user interface (GUI) without causing any disruption to the underlying systems.

Virtual employees are particularly well suited for rule-based and recurring work processes. With RPA, companies can address many problems simultaneously and drive digital transformation forward. When handling the processes, our robots eliminate any risk of error and complete the tasks exceptionally quickly. In addition, the solution can be implemented cost-effectively in a very short time.

Functions and fields of applications

What a virtual employee can work with

Our virtual employees imitate human work steps and work via the user interface. Therefore, they can handle a wide range of tools, files and systems and are not limited to single applications or data types. They can also work with individually developed applications.

Our software robots can operate with any internet browser to perform various tasks. These include, for example, Google Chrome (recommended), Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Thus, they can also handle all web-based programmes and systems.

Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams are common applications used by our virtual employees.

Since our individual software robots work via the user interface (GUI), they can handle various ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft.

Processes involving CRM programmes such as Salesforce, HubSpot or SugarCRM can also be easily optimised and automated.

Companies often work with a variety of documents and file formats, such as csv, xml or pdf. Our robots can easily understand, extract and process the data from documents such as invoices or cover letters.

In addition, our software robots can use messenger services such as WhatsApp to communicate with stakeholders.

And last but not least, the virtual employees can also interact with databases.

What a virtual employee cannot handle

Our software robots can already work with a lot of different applications, systems, documents and file formats, but even this technology has its limits. There are also a few tasks that our virtual employees cannot take on and a human must intervene, especially if other solutions try to prevent the usage of robots.

Some websites use captcha codes to avoid the usage of robots on their website. Since captcha codes usually require human intelligence, robots are not able to process them (for now).

If a login requires a TAN entry with a physical device, our software robots cannot proceed and human interaction is required. However, if the code is sent via SMS, the robots can process it.

Our software robots are not physical, so all documents and relevant data must be available in digital form. They cannot process paper that is only physically present.

  • Use Cases

    Sales

Sales staff spend around 50 percent of their working time on administrative tasks. Priorities are thus set incorrectly. The customer should be in focus. While the software robot takes over repetitive tasks, you can use this time effectively to concentrate on lead generation and customer retention.

  • Use Cases

    Human Resources

With all the administrative tasks that arise in a human resources department, the focus is no longer on the essentials: the employees, corporate culture and strategy. By taking over manual tasks, a software robot creates free space for future-relevant and value-creating tasks.

  • Use Cases

    Accounting

Handling countless numerical data requires maximum accuracy. You'll be surprised how meticulously and quickly our software robots take over and process the repetitive tasks in accounting. Reduce the error rate and create more transparency, business resilience and accuracy.

      How you benefit from RPA

Maximise the benefits of the technology

By introducing a Robotic Process Automation solution, you pave your way for the digital transformation. In the operational business process, this results in many advantages that increase your future, innovation and competitiveness.

Software robots can handle processes up to 95% faster than human employees due to their non-stop availability. By eliminating monotonous and time-consuming work, employee productivity is increased and operational efficiency maximised.

By running administrative processes without human intervention, the risk of error is reduced to a minimum. Our software robots are programmed in such a way that they do not make any mistakes and also work in a rule-compliant and consistent manner.

Non-monetary benefits also show how valuable RPA is. Our robots can handle customer requests in real time and provide a fast and flexible service. Better customer service increases customer retention, loyalty and satisfaction.

Enormous cost savings can be achieved with Robotic Process Automation. With the help of virtual employees, cost efficiency and compliance are also no longer operating costs, but a by-product of process automation.

A virtual colleague relieves employees by freeing them from repetitive and tedious routine tasks. This reduces overtime and the enormous work pressure and noticeably increases employee satisfaction and motivation.
