Functions and fields of applications
What a virtual employee can work with
Our virtual employees imitate human work steps and work via the user interface. Therefore, they can handle a wide range of tools, files and systems and are not limited to single applications or data types. They can also work with individually developed applications.
Our software robots can operate with any internet browser to perform various tasks. These include, for example, Google Chrome (recommended), Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Thus, they can also handle all web-based programmes and systems.
Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams are common applications used by our virtual employees.
Since our individual software robots work via the user interface (GUI), they can handle various ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft.
Processes involving CRM programmes such as Salesforce, HubSpot or SugarCRM can also be easily optimised and automated.
Companies often work with a variety of documents and file formats, such as csv, xml or pdf. Our robots can easily understand, extract and process the data from documents such as invoices or cover letters.
In addition, our software robots can use messenger services such as WhatsApp to communicate with stakeholders.
And last but not least, the virtual employees can also interact with databases.
What a virtual employee cannot handle
Our software robots can already work with a lot of different applications, systems, documents and file formats, but even this technology has its limits. There are also a few tasks that our virtual employees cannot take on and a human must intervene, especially if other solutions try to prevent the usage of robots.
Some websites use captcha codes to avoid the usage of robots on their website. Since captcha codes usually require human intelligence, robots are not able to process them (for now).
If a login requires a TAN entry with a physical device, our software robots cannot proceed and human interaction is required. However, if the code is sent via SMS, the robots can process it.
Our software robots are not physical, so all documents and relevant data must be available in digital form. They cannot process paper that is only physically present.
